CASp Inspection services

Our Inspection services are the most comprehensive available.  We provide accessibility inspections for both the entire building and site, or for specific areas of a facility. Our Inspection services are tailored to our client’s specific needs and may include any or all of the following:

• Pedestrian access routes throughout the site
• Required signage for the site, exterior and interior of building
• Accessible parking for cars and vans
• Passenger unloading zones
• Access routes to entrances
• Routes to all public areas
• Required exiting routes
• Accessible barriers throughout the site and building
• Public/common areas
• Customer/client areas
• Tenant areas
• Employee work stations and common employee areas

CASp Certification services

Our Certification service conforms to all CASp requirements and provides our clients with “special legal rights” to defend themselves against accessibility lawsuits. We work closely with our clients to assist them in how best to handle any accessible barriers found, and assist them in developing a feasible program to mitigate any barriers over a reasonable amount of time.

• Upon completion of a CASp Inspection, Access One will issue a state numbered “CASp Certification” to our clients. This certifies that the site, building or space has been inspected by a CASp professional. The "special legal rights" are granted immediately upon the issuance of the certification. 
  

• If accessible barriers are discovered during the inspection process, Access One will work closely with the client to develop a program to address and resolve each barrier as efficiently as possible over a reasonable amount of time. Keep in mind that any barriers discovered do not have to be resolved to be granted the "special legal rights".

Accessibility Design Assistance & Consulting

This service is available to assist Architects, Designers, Contractors and Tenants in designing a project that complies with all State and Federal accessibility requirements and guidelines.

Plan Review Services

Our plan review services are the most complete, thorough and timely reviews available and include:

• Pre-submittal Review
• Accessibility Plan Review
• Assistance with Building and Safety approval

Education & Training Services

Access One provides professional, experienced and up- to-date accessibility education and training services to our clients.

• Employee awareness training on accessibility challenges and requirements.

• Continuing professional education for Architects, Designers, Contractors, Building Officials, Inspectors, Plan Examiners, Attorneys and other professionals who are required to obtain continuing education in accessibility.

Our fees are based upon the needs of the client, the areas to be inspected and the complexity of the building.

• $0.15 - $0.50 per sq. ft.  or

Access One is fully insured, we carry a $1,000,000 E&O and general liability policy.
