STEP 1
Call Access One, we will discuss the CASp program / process with you, and provide any specific information that may assist you in your request for services. We will then assist you in scheduling a CASp inspection.
STEP 2
A comprehensive inspection will be performed in all areas requested to be CASp certified. This inspection will include photographs to document any accessible barriers found.
STEP 3
A detailed report is developed which will detail, define and specify any accessible barriers found. Access One professionals will then review the inspection results with the client and assist them in developing a feasible program to mitigate any accessible barriers over a reasonable amount of time per the CASp program requirements.
STEP 4
A California State numbered CASp Certification is issued to our client granting them the “special legal rights” to defend themselves against lawsuits per the CASp program law (California Civil Code, Sections 55.51-55.54)
NOTE:
The client will continue to receive the “special legal rights” under the CASp program law (California Civil Code, Sections 55.51-55.54) until such time that any improvements, alterations or changes are made to the site or building that may constitute an accessible barrier, or if laws and regulations change that require additional access features not previously required.
